Why go OpenSource? Inter-operatability for zero fee thats why. I use Windows, Mac and Linux all running the same Open Source Software. Thus I can work anywhere with no problems or constraints. Closed source software still does have its uses thats why I have licensed copies of windows and most closed source programs I have.
I am no linux converter but advocate the use of operating systems for their benefits. So here is my model.
1. Windows Is a General Operating System
2. Linux is for Power Users and Those who want to run away from Microsoft
3. Mac is for the purists in the computer industry (Thats why it has evangelists).
